Forward Mentoring and Support CIC is a social enterprise registered with Companies House as a Community Interest Company. This means that we are a not-for-profit company where our profits go towards meeting our social aims.
Forward Mentoring and Support CIC is governed by constitution and managed by a team of three directors, we also have recruited a fundraiser and have a knowledgeable, supportive group of advisors.
Our Vision
For everyone in Gloucestershire to feel happy about themselves, realise their potential, and be confident in their ability to build a brighter future.
Our Mission
Forward Mentoring and Support CIC is an early intervention organisation working in the community with children, young people, families, communities and other professionals through mentoring, education and support.
The people that we work with may be experiencing issues that impact negatively on their lives, relationships and prospects. We can empower them through delivering what is primarily a person-centred service.
We maintain a positive attitude towards an individual by looking at what they can do and the skills they have rather than just a problem to be fixed. A vital distinguishing feature when more and more services are targeting the problem, not the person.
Our services are bespoke packages that are unique by design and are delivered in a professional, contemporary manner.
Our Values
We are passionate: championing support that is transformative.
We are inclusive: embracing the diversity of everyone that we work with.
We are culturally aware: we recognise the beliefs, values and customs that other people have.
We are person-centred: striving to create relationships based on genuine acceptance and empathic understanding.
We are solution focused: enabling people to use their strengths to make positive changes.
We are collaborative: working in partnership with other services to maximise our impact and embed sustainable changes.
We are forward thinking: creatively looking at ways of adapting and growing our programmes, whilst continuing to deliver best practice.
